The system is built around the same hollow fibre QuickDraw Filter as the 1L version, flowing at up to 3 litres per minute with squeeze pressure and 1.75 litres per minute in a gravity setup. What changes is the reservoir and the connectivity. The 2L dirty reservoir is constructed from a durable tri-layer film that's guaranteed plastic-taste-free, with a wide-mouth opening and a fill handle that keeps your hands dry when scooping from a shallow creek or lake edge. I/O dual threads on the dirty side work with QuickDraw reservoirs and standard narrow-mouth bottles, while the ConnectCap on the clean side adds a hose attachment point. The included short hose with quick connector lets you squeeze filtered water directly into a hydration reservoir still sitting in your pack, a genuinely useful feature on a long portage day.

Each filter is individually tested to meet EPA and NSF guidelines, removing 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa, including Giardia, Cryptosporidium, and E. coli. The integrity check lets you verify the filter membrane is still sound after a hard drop or a freeze, which is reassurance worth having when you're days from the nearest trailhead or take-out point.
